LPN Re-Entry Program
Who Is The Re-Entry Program For?
The LPN Re-entry program is considered on a case-by-case basis and can be open to:
- members who have been out of the workforce who may/may not have the requirements for eligibility to reinstate their license
- approved Internationally educated nurses (IENs) as a result of the application review process
- be utilized as a result of a disciplinary review/ fitness to practice result
- applicants who have exceeded the maximum number of examination attempts.
The LPN Re-entry program is delivered by NBCC (English) and CCNB (French). Members/applicants are
approved and referred by ANBLPN.

$6395 program total (includes 7 courses), paid on a “per course” basis (funding options may be available through government agencies such as WorkingNB, PETL, etc.)

Training is primarily online with some in-person clinical components

Approximately $600+HST

Courses Covered in the Program
The re-entry program will cover the following courses:
- Health Care in Canada (if applicable)
- Medication Administration for Licensed or Re-Entry Practical Nurses
- Advanced Adult Health Assessment for Licensed or Re-Entry Practical Nurses
- Clinical: PN – Advanced Medical/Surgical Nursing Practice
- Maternal, Newborn and Pediatric Nursing Concepts
- Advanced Medical Surgical Nursing Lab
- Pharmacology for Licensed or Re-Entry Practical Nurses
- Leadership Role

If you are interested in the re-entry program:
- Complete the Consent to Release Information form in the [Resources] section above
- Send the completed form the applications@npls.ca
- A staff member from ANBLPN will contact you to discuss your case
- If you qualify for the program, ANBLPN will put in a referral to the college
- You will be contacted by the college with program and registration information
